She can accumulate "Enhanced Shotshell" stacks through [Chain Skills], [EX Special Attack] and [Ultimate]. 1. Zhu Yuan deals almost all her damage by Enhanced Basic Attacks, so prioritize upgrading it.

3. While Zhu Yuan's dodge attacks do considerable damage, the delay before the Dodge is a little annoying, making it a lower priority for enhancement.

Riot Suppressor Mark VI is Zhu Yuan's signature W-Engine and undoubtedly the most suitable W-Engine for her. Aside from the large amount of CRIT DMG it provides, unconditional Aether bonus makes it a perfect weapon. It can also grant charge stacks when the equipper activates [EX Special Attack], and consume them to increase damage by unleashing [Basic Attacks].

3. Budget Choice: Starlight Engine & Street Superstar
The Starlight Engine W-Engine can be redeemed from the W-Engines shop. It is an average choice for Zhu Yuan and can be used as a placeholder until you obtain one of the superior W-Engines.
Street Superstar is available in banners and pairs well with Attack Agent, provided you can execute Chain Attacks proficiently. After accumulating 3 stacks, you can unleash the Ultimates for maximum damage!
Zhu Yuan Best Drive Discs
1. Best Option: Woodpecker Electro (4) + Chaotic Metal (2)
Usually, Attack Agents are recommended to use Woodpecker Electro (2) and the Metal set (4) that matches their attribute. However, Zhu Yuan is an exception. Chaotic Metal is unique because it applies a debuff to the enemy rather than buffing the wearer. This means Zhu Yuan doesn’t need to be the one wearing Chaotic Metal (4).
Currently, the likely teammate for Zhu Yuan is Nicole. If Nicole is equipped with Chaotic Metal (4), Zhu Yuan doesn’t need to be. So the best Drive Discs option for Zhu Yuan is Woodpecker Electro (4) + Chaotic Metal (2). Woodpecker Electro can provide CRIT Rate and ATK buffs, and Chaotic Metal can increase Zhu Yuan's Ether DMG.
Other possible choice:
